My life for his Germany X Reader

We’ll never forget that day. It was the end of the war. The other countries were calling for his death.Germany’s. You were young but felt a strong bond towards the German,stronger than love, you thought. He had made some mistakes but now was paying dearly for them in body and spirit. So you stepped in. You dressed up like him, hid your (H/C) under a wig and hid the fact you were a girl. Then you let them take you. You only had to wait a week before it happened. Now it was time. Britain held the gun to your head while you stood in front of a ditch with a stone face.

“do you confess you bloody git!?”

“Ja.” You didn't let them hear the fear in your voice. You heard the gun click and just let the peace of the waiting death wash over you. He would live if you did this and that was all that mattered. Germany had to live.

Germany’s POV:

She was standing there just letting them do this. She was going to die in my place.

“ (Y/N)! you dumb ass!” Right as Britain pulled the trigger, I tackled her. We fell rolling and soon the hat and wig fell. Her beautiful brown hair fell and soon she shook the hell out of me.

“You’re the dumb ass coming here like this!” She slapped me then and soon got in front of me on her knees. They were all just standing there staring.

“I knew the minute you vent missing vhat you vere doing. now move.” I tried to move her but she elbowed me in the chest making me fall.

“Nien! You've got a life to live! Britain..... If you kill me, let Germany live! Let me trade my life for his!” He just smiled and soon just fired. She gasped and soon fell back as blood gushed out of her chest.

“Fine. A gentlemen won’t go back on deals like that.” Right then they all left as I tried to get the bleeding to stop.

“Ludwig.... It’s OK.... I’m OK.” I just shook my head and pressed harder. She smiled and  soon closed her eyes slowly and the flow slowed.

“Nien! Stay awake!” She just smiled still and soon it just ended. I knelt there on the ground and let the tears flow like rivers down my face. Why had she been this stupid when i had told her a week ago I had loved her?
